Hi, my name is Nohemi Rios, and I first joined Everyone’s Day Hab as a volunteer in the summer of 2017. Working with these special needs adults was a wonderful experience and enabled me to become a permanent member of the EDH team in 2018.

My role involves teaching various life skills to our IDD clients and creating engaging, interactive lessons to enhance their learning and skill development. Watching the progress each client makes as they develop more confidence and independence puts a smile on my face.

When I’m not at Everyone’s Day Hab, I serve on the care team at City Point Church. I am actively involved in the Stephen Ministry and I often incorporate my Stephen Ministry training into my work at EDH. I provide one-on-one ministry sessions and conduct Bible study sessions with our clients. In addition to my role at EDH, I am also a certified registered medical assistant.
